Audi MMI and Virtual Cockpit Awarded For Easy-to-Use Innovations at 2018 CES

In what appears to be an avalanche of acclaim, the premium automaker Audi is riding out awards season by cinching honors like a quattro all-wheel drive system grips the road. But mentioning that example of the four ring's longstanding commitment to performance innovations brings us to yet another top-mention. This year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas saw the whole Audi brand recognized for its advancements.

Our greater Seattle area drivers and prospective shoppers now have the prestige of knowing their allure towards a 2018 A3 or their already-trusty 2018 Q5 isn't just the product of the what the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and automotive experts of Edmunds see as "Most Innovative Automaker," but carries the "Most Innovative Infotainment System" as standard equipment.

But the latter title doesn't just cover the Audi Multi Media Interface (MMI) suite found across our new Audi range. The new Audi Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster with integrated infotainment functions, with steering wheel controls that mirror the scrolling "click wheel" selector also were lauded for their intuitive nature and ease-of-use.

The penultimate "Most Innovative Automaker" award, however, encompasses more than these advanced systems. As any of our Tacoma drivers who have braved a snow storm with quattro will know, it works as well as they say. And with the Audi AI systems, advanced lighting elements and mild-hybrid technologies on their way in the 2019 A7 and A8, the future is reaping rewards, too.

Be your taste Premium, Prestige, or select Competition, our Audi dealership in Fife, WA has the compliments for your pallet. To sample the models on our lot, contact us at our showroom.
