The Audi Q7 vs. The Competition
When it comes to finding a luxury SUV, the search can be extensive
having to search through all of the options out there. We at Audi Tacoma
understand this, but we want your car-buying experience to be as easy as
possible. So to save you time, we have gone ahead and compared our Audi Q7
against the competing Acura MDX and Lexus GX. Understanding each vehicle comes
in their series of trims, we compared the base trim of each vehicle.
Cost
Since cost ultimately determines the car-buying decision, we start
with that. The Audi Q7 places second in matters of MSRP and True Market Value;
higher than the Acura MDX but lower than the Lexus GX. But with that price
comes a dominating array of features that set the Audi Q7 apart.
Performance
Over an all-wheel-drive system and eight-speed automatic transmission,
the Audi Q7 packs the smallest engine out of the three vehicles, a 2.0-liter
inline-4 turbo. But, that engine gives Q7 the best fuel economy out of the
three, and second-highest level of torque.
Interior Features
Inside, the Audi matches the more expensive Lexus GX in convenience
standards like Bluetooth, HD radio, heated and cooled leather seats, and
keyless ignition. This also includes safety features like standard Child Seat
Anchors, Stability and Traction control, and side/curtain airbags, as well as
optional Emergency Service, and optional Stolen Vehicle Tracking.
